Calvin Harvey II, founder of Dispute Nerds

I paid $139.95 a month for almost a year and got nothing.

That's the short version.

The longer one: I pulled my own credit report and found things on it that made no sense. Accounts that didn't add up. Balances that didn't match between bureaus. So I did what most people do, which is hire one of the big national credit repair companies.

Almost a year of monthly payments later, I had very little to show for it.

Here's what I figured out, and it's the part that still bothers me. They weren't slow because credit repair is slow. They were slow because slow is the business model. Dispute a couple of items, wait for the responses, dispute a couple more. Every round is another 30 days, and every 30 days is another payment. Your report has fifteen problems on it and they're working through them three at a time.

The waiting isn't a side effect. The waiting is the product.

So I built the thing I actually needed.

I've spent 22 years building software, and seven years before that as an Information Systems Technician in the Navy. So when I finally understood what these companies were actually doing, I did the obvious thing and started doing it myself.

The hard part of credit repair was never writing the letters. Letters are templates. The hard part is reading three bureau reports line by line and catching where they disagree, where an account is reporting something it shouldn't, where the same debt shows up twice under different names. That's tedious, detailed, pattern-matching work.

Which is exactly what AI is good at.

That's what Nerd AI does. It reads all three of your reports, compares every account across every bureau, and shows you what doesn't add up. It drafts the letters. You read every one, confirm every fact, and decide what goes out. There's no reason to do three at a time. Dispute everything you have grounds to dispute, all of it, in one round.

What we are and what we aren't

Dispute Nerds is software. We're not a credit repair organization, we're not a law firm, and we're not financial advisors.

We don't submit anything on your behalf. We don't guarantee deletions or score increases, because nobody can and anyone who does is lying to you. Every dispute in this product goes out because you read it and approved it.

What we do is the analysis, the letters, the tracking, and the reading of whatever comes back. $14.99 a month instead of $100.

Why "Nerds"

Because the person you want looking at your credit report is the one who notices that Experian says $1,927 and TransUnion says nothing at all on the same account, and can't let it go until someone explains why.

That's the whole job. We read the fine print so you don't have to.
